ALKYD VARNISH

A tough durable transparent finish providing high protection to substrates subject to wear, sunlight and weathering conditions. Its high performance formulation makes it ideal for outdoor applications providing long-lasting protection.

It is effective on surfaces such as structural steel, beams, trusses, metal doors, metal sash, metal trim, lockers, stairs and all types of machinery. Interior and exterior wood work such as furniture, wood paneling, cabinets, cupboards, doors, windows, hospital furniture, kitchen fixtures, etc...

Surfaces should be solid, clean and dry, free from oil, grease, salt, dust and other contaminants.

1. Alkaline and acid surfaces should be cleaned and neutralized.
2. Deteriorated previous coatings, weak and blistered paints or chalky substances should be removed by scrapers, paint removers or flame spraying.
3. Non-disintegrated paints or glossy surfaces of previous coatings should be roughened slightly with sand paper to ensure good adhesion.
